12. On Deepak Chopra

Sitting with a couple of thousand other souls, Noble attended a speaking event with Deepak Chopra, last evening. 1/28/2008. Nothing new under the sun came to this mans awareness, however, each human soul has a unique way of delivering the ancient and eternal truth of our existence.

The following is Noble’s brief summary of Deepak’s message:
The goal of this life is unity with consciousness and transcending the limitations of the time space continuum. Cosmic consciousness is available to all mankind. “What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul?” We are not the roles that we play, but rather, the divine aware consciousness that is within the body. Divine consciousness is full awareness of God’s presence in everything.

We are continually dying while recreating ourselves. The person we are now is completely different than the child or teenager we were. Nearly every cell in the body has been replaced with new cells. Only death makes life possible. Cancer is a cell that has lost it’s memory of death. We must be, “born from above.” The only thing that exists is, now. “Do not worry about tomorrow.” The known, (what we know) is the prison of the past. We keep believing we know what is NOW, based on our experience of the past.

We know nothing about the moment of now, and unlimited potential lies in this silent space between past and future. It appears that we are causing (doing) what is occurring, but divine consciousness is doing the doing, and we are simply observing. We live and breathe, pretending we know what is, while the universe is thinking through us. The world is a mirror of oneself.

The world is simply reflecting what we are thinking and experiencing. All relationships are a mirror of the self. “Resist not evil.” Evil is not our enemy. We live in multi dimensions of reality. Other realities exist that are concurrent with our own. “In my father’s house, there are many mansions.” The mansions Jesus referred to are not in some future heaven, but exist now, in the moment of now.

All fulfillment comes from within. It is not a function of what is outside of us. It arises from stillness. “Knock and the door shall be opened.” It is the creative work of the divine. True suffering is in not knowing the nature of reality. “Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.”

Freedom comes from choice-less awareness. “Be still and know that I am God.” There are four parts to unity with divine source: meditation, love, action, and knowledge. The hidden dimension of our existence is that we hold the universe within, with the potential of all that is, or ever will be. “The Kingdom of heaven is within us.” The questions we ask, and the actions we take determine the course of nature, i.e., Who am I? Where am I going? What do I want? What are my skills and talents? We are the collective consciousness of all life. The world is in us. “I am in this world, but I am not of it.”
