All the great Masters
Received from the Divine
They each gave us truth
So we need not be blind
I love you, Lono
I trust you, Mohammed
Come be with me, Buddha
I love you Jesus, too
Separation and wars made this
Heaven on earth poor
“Your God” versus “My God”
We must do this no more
I love you, Yahweh
I trust in you, Krishna
Come be with me, Shakti
And you, Quan Yin, too
All Masters were seeking
From the One God so true
We must all come together
To make this earth new
Let’s all see our Oneness
And have no more strife
Let’s love one another
And honor this precious life
We are Spirit Beings
In a body a short while
So please love your neighbor
and show your sweet smile
(words by Noble Turner January 2010)
Long story short – I had the opportunity a few years back to cheerfully wring someones neck (not literally mind), this person was most difficult, very challenging, spiteful, but obviously coming from a place of Pain. I chose to put out the hand of friendship, be kind, tolerant and understanding. I was overwhelmed at the effect it had on this person, we remained good friends for a few years, then she moved away. I found it difficult to begin with, but once I had initiated the change within myself, it had a knock-on effect, like throwing a pebble into a pond.
